Although the Book of Judges records the weak and stubborn side of human nature, in the seemingly unstoppable vicious cycle, the scriptures in the Book of Judges show readers God’s faithful salvation and unchanging loving grace.
In an age of darkness and confusion, God is still with His people. This is undoubtedly a great comfort and assurance to you and me who follow the Lord Jesus Christ today. Because no matter how turbulent the outside world is, God still listens to our prayers and calls, and uses His mighty hand to lead us into the eternal promised land through the salvation of Jesus Christ on the cross.
The LORD raised up a judge for them, and he was with that judge.
