Chronicles

When God’s people were hesitant and helpless, God moved the author of Chronicles to write down God’s revelation, confirming to them that God’s promises would never change. Although the Israelites have experienced displacement and wandering, God reminds them that they will always be God’s beloved and chosen children, and wants to help them find their identity as “God’s children” in real life. The Books of Return

God used Cyrus the Great, the king of the Persian Empire, to announce the return of the Judahs to the Promised Land, and He also inspired Zerubbabel, Ezra, and Nehemiah to lead the Judahs on their return journey; they returned to Jerusalem three times to rebuild the temple. In the same way, God will re-infuse a powerful anointing into our lives today. Although the Israelites were God’s chosen people, they still faced the crisis of being exterminated during the reign of King Ahasuerus. However, if God can use the Esther to save the entire nation of Israel, of course, God can also help you turn adversity into victory.
